Record turnout for Annual General Meeting of LBMA! · 5.05.05
Over a quarter of the membership showed in person for the LBMA's AGM. Apart from electing officers, including a new board member, Catt, who agreed to stand as secretary, and approving the annual accounts, the meeting endorsed the LBMA sponsored amendment to the Despatch Association's code of conduct, and finally agreed a new logo.
Jon 'Wingnut' Knight, re-elected for another year as Vice-Chair of the LBMA, said: “It has been a year of consolidation and confirmation for the Association. The record turnout shows that London's messenger want representation, and they believe the LBMA, rolling as one, is the right wheel of change.”
