Rapha Roller Race: Culture Clash II · 31.10.07

Every messengers favourite clothing company Rapha, ;) is putting on another Culture Clash roller race event on Saturday the 17th November, this time at the prestigious Classic Car Club at 250 Old Street, EC1.
Word is, the rollapaluza rollers will be placed in a boxing ring amongst the Ford GT’s and Ferrari’s, though it is unclear whether competitors will have to don boxing gloves for each bout, or if spectators will be able to test drive vehicles on the Old Street roundabout. If you recall the last Rapha Culture Clash roller race, the blokes messenger team were dead fucking last (unpaid Metro riders), and the Cycling Weakly Journos (all actually 1st cat. roadies) destroyed all before them in spartan fashion.
Perhaps an evening of vengeance is on the cards then? Bycaboy Seb looked in good form at an impromtu roller race last night, but didn’t break the four-minute-mile rollapaluza gold standard – 20 seconds for 500 metres.
£10 entry (£5 for messengers, £15 for fakengers) with £2.50 going to the charity Leuka. Usual Bar and DJ’s etc… more info:
